From the age of 18 to 23 Lee trained and competed as a light heavy weight boxer under the well known boxing coach Cameron Todd (David Tua’s original coach for 10 years) at Boxing central, Auckland New Zealand. Following a spinal injury Lee continued as an assistant coach while undergoing intensive rehabilitation and corrective conditioning.
Despite not being able to Compete following the injury Lee found a new passion in life, training and helping others. Lee graduated with a college diploma in Clinical Sports Massage and continued to study various specialty disciplines from leading institutes all over the world. Some of which include the C.H.E.K Institute in San Diego, The National Academy of Sports Medicine in Seattle and the Poliquin Performance center in North Carolina.
His services have been sought after by the New Zealand Olympic Soccer and Kayak Teams (2004), National Boxing and kick boxing teams and various individual athletes from a multitude of sports. He has over 5 years experience as a Clinical Sports Massage Therapist and over 3 years experience as an exercise specialist. Lee has worked in Scotland, London (UK) and Canada while often traveling with teams to Europe.
Lee's credentials include: NASM-CPT, Dip Clinical Massage and Sports Therapy (NZCM), Poliquin 1 Strength coach, C.H.E.K 1 Practitioner.
