  There are 6 public indoor courts located on the North Shore at the Grant Connell Tennis Centre. Grant Connell also offers a wide array of tennis programs including leagues and tennis lessons.

• Kitsilano Beach (outdoor)

  Kitsilano Beach Park is another popular tennis court location with 10 courts.

• Stanley Park (outdoor)

  Vancouver is fortunate in that it has hundreds of public courts around the city. One of the most popular tennis courts are the tennis courts located at Stanley Park. A bank of 17 tennis courts are located near the Beach Avenue entrance to Stanley Park. The courts are available on a first-come, first served basis, limited to 30 minutes play if someone is waiting. During the summer season (May 1 - Sept 1) 6 courts are taken over for pay tennis where one can pre-book the courts by phone 604-605-8224. In addition there are 4 more courts located just below South Lagoon Drive.

• Odlum Brown Women's Challenger

  Jericho hosts the Odlum Brown Women's Challenger event, featuring up and coming professional players from among the international ranks.

• Stanley Park Open

North America's Largest Tennis Event. The tournament attracts competitors from all over the world and has many different events. In 2004, the tournament had 1732 entries in 82 events, from age ten and under boys and girls to 60+ Men's Singles and 100 mixed (combined age) doubles. The 16 day tournament also includes two ITF (International Tennis Federation) events; The Canadian U18 ITF World Ranking event and the NEC Wheelchair World Ranking event. This year's men's
open winner was Jara Bulant from the Czech Republic.
