Greg was born and raised in Victoria, BC where he attended Spectrum high school and Camosun College. Since his youth Greg played club soccer and competitive baseball. During both junior high and high school he played volleyball, rugby, basketball, and club baseball where he won such awards as MVP, Rookie of the Year, and a Batting Title. After finishing his first 2 years at Camosun in Victoria he transferred to UBC to complete a degree in Human Kinetics (Exercise Science), where in his first year he competed in junior varsity rowing. While finishing his bachelor's degree he received academic awards for Head of Class and the Undergraduate Scholarship Program. He also received an NSERC funding award for research, in which he helped carry out studies in the fields of neurophysiology, biomechanics, and exercise physiology. After graduating he was accepted into the Master's of Physiotherapy program at UBC, during which he was a research assistant in musculoskeletal and respiratory rehabilitation. While in graduate school Greg also gained work and training experience with UBC baseball, Canadian Paralympic Alpine Skiing, and the Okanagan Sun's Football Club.
Greg has been at Level 10 Fitness for 2 years and has continued his education with certifications in Active Release Therapy and Acupuncture as well as taking numerous other professional development courses. He has been working with athletes from all sports ranging from professional & collegiate to recreational athletes. Over these last 2 years Greg has also been volunteering with local sports teams- namely basketball and rugby.
Greg has a passion for facilitating positive change, whether it be in physical function or general well-being. He is excited not only to apply his knowledge of physiotherapy and exercise to treating injuries, but also toward being proactive in preventing injuries before they happen.
