DPT, BSc, CSCS, Physiotherapist
Andrea is a local North Vancouverite who graduated from Argyle Secondary School, where she excelled academically and as a track & field athlete. At the provincial, national and collegiate level Andrea medalled multiple times in the long and triple jump, and -starting in her senior year of college- the hammer throw. Andrea finished 4 years as a scholarship NCAA Div I. athlete at Marquette University with all-conference honours and a Bachelors of Science in Human Biology.
Following a strong showing at a national team selection camp, Andrea took a leave from grad school to pursue full time athletics as a member of the 2005/06 Canadian Women’s National Bobsled Team. Andrea travelled North America and Europe on the World Cup circuit, and narrowly missed selection for the 2006 Torino Olympic Games. In the time between the 2006 Games and her return to Physical Therapy school at Marquette, Andrea earned her CSCS designation and worked for the first time as a personal trainer for Level 10 at the newly opened Harbourside location. While earning her degree, Andrea found time to work as the conditioning coach for the Marquette throwers of the varsity track and field team. Andrea’s physical therapy internships across the US and Canada have given her a broad exposure to techniques in rehabilitation and injury prevention.
Having graduated with Suma Cum Laude honours with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy, Andrea is excited to return to Level 10 to offer clients personal training and physical therapy services influenced by her unique blend of academic, personal training, coaching, physical therapy & collegiate to international athletic experience.
