Founder of Peak Exercise Sciences, Matt Cole holds a master’s degree from the University of Victoria specializing in exercise physiology and training methodology for strength and power athletes. He completed his Bachelor of Human Kinetics at the University of British Columbia and is a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA) and is an active member of the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology.

As an exercise physiologist, Matt has conducted research in the area of periodization and resistance training overtraining, taught exercise science courses at the university level, and written academic papers on sport supplementation and doping, periodization, overtraining, and power development.

Matt’s experience in designing and implementing conditioning programs is vast and includes the unique areas of fitness conditioning for the general public, active rehabilitation for soft tissue injuries, and sport conditioning for strength and power athletes.

Matt’s philosophy is "Optimal Conditioning for Optimal Living."
