Anterior Raise
Anterior
Raise targets the front of the shoulder, the Anterior Deltoid.
The anterior deltoid works along side the pectorals during
chest exercises and the medial deltoid during shoulder exercises.
For this reason it is wise to make sure that the anterior
deltoid is not overworked and that the medial and posterior
deltoid are in balance. |
Starting
position: Stand upright with
your arms straight down in front of you.
Movement:
Keep your arms straight as you raise them up in front of you
until they are at shoulder height.
